State of Thejistan

Thejistan, officially the State of Thejistan and later the State of Thejia, also archaically referred to as Thajestine was a micronation located in Bir Tawil and later North America. It was founded on August 6th of 2022 by Patreyk Narjid and was dissolved in favor to the foundation of the Federated States of Duvall on December 21st of 2023.

During its history, Thejistan was constantly embroiled in conflict: namely the Flinstonian coup of April 2023 and the War on Terror that initiated a month prior, and was resolved in December of 2024 under the de facto administration of the Khuni-XIII-Territories. Its government was intended to be democratic, but was gradually transformed into a dictatorship due to several factors such as the lack of engagement from citizens and the agenda of Hamburgersex.

Location

From its foundation until 18 January 2023, Thejistan laid claim to the Bir Tawil triangle in North Africa, the result of a land dispute between Egypt and Sudan. It is a very popular claim for beginner micronationalists to make for their nations. In September of 2023, a "war" was fought between Thejistan and the Union of Bir Tawil in which the Union would be "annexed" by Thejistan.

In January of 2023, reforms were passed to relinquish any and all claims and links between Thejistan and the claim to Bir Tawil. Instead, legislation was passed by the Thejistani Assembly to move claims to a small spot betwixt the border of the U.S. states of Virginia and West Virginia. Representatives of Hamburgersex, namely Gemini Alzirr lobbied in the Assembly to make official the border's lengthy panhandle that would later form Hamburgersex's own territory.

The Bolsaak Territory was a square mile plot in the North Atlantic Ocean claimed after the resolution to the Flinstonian Coup.

Government and Politics

In Thejistan, executive power was vested in the offices of President and Minister of Kra (both offices were retained in the transfer to Duvall). The officeholders of these positions were free to create and dissolve ministries at the discretion of the Thejistani Assembly, the legislative body of Thejistan. There did exist a judicial system in Thejistan, but it never saw the fulfillment of the position of Supreme Judge to oversee legal matters.

Political parties

There existed two main political factions in Thejistan: the Wackists, led by Narjid; and Hamburgersex, led by Alzirr. The Wackists took a much more international approach to matters, attempting to found branch parties in other nations such as Hokoria. This practice would later be repeated by Narjid with his General People's Movement in Leyvera and Saravatska.

Hamburgersex would remain more isolationist, which would only be radicalized by the Flinstionian Coup when its policies shifted to be much more aggresive to outsiders. Hamburgersex would be the main lobby in the establishment of the Bolsaak territory, which was planned to be a spot on which an artificial island would be created in order to build political prisons as per the Domestic Integrity Act.

Elections

At several points in its history, Thejistan attempted to hold legislative elections which would ultimately gain little to no traction. Most notably, one election for seats in the Thejistani Assembly saw only one applicant.

Military

The Thejistani military only ever existed as an honorary system of honors and titles. The Head of the Armed Forces throughout the entirety of Thejistan's existance was Atomowy van Taboret XLV.

Conflicts

Flinstonian Coup

On April 29th, 2023, Gemini Alzirr's Discord account was hijacked and had its profile changed to be that of Fred Flintstone. The assailant intentionally spelt it as "Flinstone" as he "dropped the 'T' for Thejistan." This would allow him to take over the Hamburgersex party and declare an active coup against the Narjid administration. Narjid would form a government in exile and the State of Hokoria would issue a condemnation of the coup, refusing to recognize the Flinstone government. Flinstone would form the Mighty Principality of Bedrock: an isolationist and totalitarian state.

The Narjid government would regain control of Thejistan on May 6th, and would pass the Domestic Integrity Act and establish the Bolsaak Territory in attempt to appease those who sympathized with the Flinstone administration.

Thejistani War on Terror

The War on Terror would be initiated under the Narjid administration of 30 March 2023 with Operation Pitchfork, an organized raid of a Discord server known as the Cool Kids Group, or CKG (also then-referred to as the "Captious Kataklysmic Gestapo" by members of Hamburgersex).
