Snood is a video game released for Mac systems in 1996, then for MS DOS and Windows in 1999, both developed by Dave Dobson. Several ports of the game have been made since, including for the GameBoy Advance in 2001, and for iOS in 2009.
Most versions of Snood revolve around aiming a launcher filled with one of seven characters, called a Snood, at a matching Snood. If the Snood makes contact with 2 or more matching Snoods, those Snoods dissapear, if a Snood does not touch 2 or more matching Snoods, nothing happens and the wall of Snoods grows larger, gradually descending until it reaches the bottom, initiating a Game Over. If all Snoods are cleared from the wall the player wins the round.
